Page of Wands presents: 'The Tearing' by Seán Lennon on 9th December 2024

Seán Lennon is a poet and musician, originally from Ireland. He works as a support worker & is training to be a psychotherapist. We were lucky enough to host the launch of his latest self-published collection.

Named after an Irish colloquial phrase meaning "to rush", The Tearing marks a stylistic shift for the writer, employing narrative poetry to tell the story of an unnamed protagonist born into poverty in mid-20th century Ireland and seeking to make his fortune.

Page of Wands: Zine Launch Party on 26th September 2024

Bare feet on warm tarmac, red skies at night, overflowing park bins, baptisms of fire. The first Page of Wands zine embraces the slow burn and close heat of summer through poetry and prose. It was our very first proper event and it went really well.
